Running the setup scripts

The setup script allows you to quickly configure the IP addressing on the LAN ports. To run the setup script, do the following:

1. Connect to the XR2000.

2. Type the following command to start the script:

   setup

   The Choose a Tool window is shown.

   

3. Select Network configuration, then choose Run Tool.

4. Select Device configuration, and then the interface (eth0 or eth1) that you want to configure.

   The interface's configuration is displayed.

   

5. Configure the interface settings, then choose OK to save the changes.

6. When the script ends, type exit to sign off.

   If you want to register the XR2000 with a Hawkeye server, continue with Register with a Hawkeye Server.
