Advanced Administration Guide

This section covers the advanced administration steps of Hawkeye server. You should have administrator access to the server hosting Hawkeye to be able to use this.

The Hawkeye system is currently based on the Debian 12 OS. The main hawkeye software is installed in /opt/hawkeye . The status of the assorted services can be shown by issuing the hawkeyeStatus command. They can then be restarted by issuing the hawkeyeServices command.

The associated config files, which allow you to fine tune and better integrate the hawkeye server are outlined in this chapter.
