Perform bulk actions on IxProbes

From the IxProbe Element Manager dashboad in list view bulk configuration changes can be made to any or all of the IxProbes that currently appear in the list. To start the bulk configuration process, select individual probes by selecting the check box in the first column. Select all the probes in the current list view if you want to perform bulk actions.

After you have selected the IxProbes on which you want to perform bulk actions, select to perform one of the available tasks.

is visible after you select at least one IxProbe for bulk action.

Sync

The Sync action retrieves the current running configuration of the selected IxProbe . This is used to get configuration updates that may have been made through the IxProbe CLI or an IxProbe’s standalone web UI.

Delete

The Delete action removes the selected IxProbes from the Element Manager Database. This is used to remove stored data about IxProbes that are no longer being managed by Hawkeye.

Set Hawkeye server

The set Hawkeye server actions allow you to pass a new Hawkeye server IP down to the selected IxProbes. This is used to migrate IxProbes from one Hawkeye Element Manager Server to another.

If any of the selected Probes are in IP Adoption Mode (IMM/IAM), the new Hawkeye server IP must be added to the Trusted Subnet List before performing the Set Hawkeye Server bulk action.

Add Trusted Subnet

Add Trusted Subnet adds the supplied IP address and Subnet Mask (prefix) combination to the selected IxProbes.

Add Trap Destination

Adds the supplied IP address as an SNMP Trap Destination on the selected IxProbes.
